LinkSoft Pty Ltd aims to provide custom solutions for linking business & software. Incorporated in 1998, and operating since 1993 under the name Dynamic PC Solutions, LinkSoft has installed software in many businesses and government departments throughout Australia. All of LinkSoft’s software is Australian developed, Australian owned and supported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

LinkSoft specialises in merging the many elements of a business into one cohesive software package. Modules currently exist for easy booking entry, efficient data dispatching, Pocket PC Clients, real time GPS tracking, debtors, subcontractor invoicing, automatic pricing, security, interfaces to external sources, email and online bookings.

The company, LinkSoft Pty Ltd (ABN 85 084 389 257) was incorporated in 1998. The goal of LinkSoft Pty Ltd is to provide custom solutions for Linking Business & Software.

MANAGEMENT

Andrew Powrie is the principal of LINKSOFT. Andrew has a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Computing from the Queensland University of Technology. This degree was obtained in 1986. Prior to starting his own business Andrew worked in the Queensland Health Department as Software Engineer. Expert in GPRS, GPS, 1XRTT and radio technology, Andrew also possesses extensive IT experience including but not limited to Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems and applications. Andrew takes an active role in all aspects of our Software Development to ensure that the LINKSOFT range of software applications continues to be a market leader in Data Dispatching for the Limousine Industry.
Ron Wheeler oversees our administration support and marketing functions. Prior to joining us, Ron held senior positions in the emergency services industries where he was awarded a commendation and a national medal. His flair for procedural organisation is reflected in LINKSOFT’s attention to detail and administrative procedures. As a testament to Ron’s hands on experience with both Software and Hardware and his ability to work closely with all members of the LINKSOFT Team along with his exceptional interpersonal skills, Ron now adds LINKSOFT Software Support to his many talents.

ACCOUNTS

Christine Powrie, is a Chartered Accountant with experience in all facets of financial management and control. As a former manager with MGI White Hancock, Christine ensures the company is established on a sound financial base. Christine has over 25 years experience in commercial and public accounting environments.

Janeene Collins is our Accounts Executive and is responsible for the daily front office operational requirements. Janeene‘s ability to coordinate the delivery of multiple tasks to highest level simultaneously is backed up by the extensive level of experience she brings to all aspects of Front Office Management.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Sean Bryant is our senior software engineer. Sean has a degree in Information Technology majoring in Computer Science and more than 14 years of experience in software development. Sean has worked on and developed software for various industries and specialises in writing applications for real time data communication for data dispatching and vehicle tracking as well as development for devices using Pocket PC and Windows CE operating systems.
Andrew Powrie is also a software engineer working system development in all areas LinkSoft's suite of applications, desktop, device & web based solutions.

SUPPORT

Leanne Russell is our Software Support Technician responsible for the implementation of the software packages and provides software support services to our clients. In 2008 Leanne graduated from the University Of Salford (UK) with a BSc (Hons.)Computing. Leanne is now based in New Zealand to further assist our ever increasing client base.
Alvin Maharaj is one of our Help Desk Technician and as such is responsible for assisting our clients with IT support relevant to ensuring that our LINKSOFT Programs and the hardware form a cohesive integration to the client’s current hardware facilities.

Current Software Packages

LinkSoft currently has software installed in various businesses and government departments throughout Australia.

The software range includes Limousine Manager, Tow Manager (interfacing to RACQ, NRMA and RACV), Courier Manager, Fleet manager, Waste Manager, Trunk Radio Interface and Telemetry Auto Download System.

Limousine Manager, Tow Manager, Fleet Manager, Waste Manager and Courier Manager are programs that manage the vehicle fleet by real time job and fleet tracking, data despatching, job searching, providing job status history, use of internet for job bookings by customers, logging of vehicle movements. Major towing contractors in Queensland and Victoria use Tow Manager. The interface between the relevant towing authority (eg RACQ or RACV) allows for the jobs to be automatically sent to the contractor and then data despatched by the contractor (via two-way radio) to the tow truck. This provides a real time transfer of jobs and status codes between the contractor and the authority. Ready Towing a Brisbane based company has a fleet of 70 Tow trucks whose movements are tracked and logged by Tow Manager.

Trunk Radio Interface provides a solution for Queensland State Government Security Department to monitor the movements of security guards. It raises alarms in the case of man down and interfaces with the alarm monitoring system.

Telemetry Auto Download System is used by Queensland Main Roads Department and State Roads Departments including Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia to automatically download and log data from Telemetry units.
